This Package Delivery Driver position is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering parcels throughout the Staten Island area in a safe and timely manner. Typical duties include loading and unloading packages, organizing deliveries by route, verifying shipment details, obtaining delivery confirmations, and maintaining accurate records of completed stops and any delivery exceptions. The role also involves basic vehicle inspection, keeping the delivery vehicle clean and orderly, and following traffic laws, customer service standards, and secure handling procedures. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, strong time-management skills, and the ability to read route information and use navigation tools. Prior delivery, warehouse, or commercial driving experience is helpful but not always required. Physical demands commonly include frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, and repeated entry and exit from a vehicle. This is a full-time position with a schedule that may include daytime hours and route-based workdays depending on operational needs.
