Stuteville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Poteau is looking for a motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead our dealership's new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an automotive professional who knows how to drive sales, develop a team, manage inventory, desk deals, appraise trades, and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage both new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations
- Desk deals and assist the sales team in structuring transactions
- Achieve dealership goals for sales volume, gross profit, inventory turn, and profitability
- Hire, train, coach, supervise, and motivate sales staff
- Appraise trades and make sound vehicle acquisition and disposition decisions
- Assist with new vehicle inventory management and ordering/acquisition
- Manage pre-owned inventory, including pricing, aging, reconditioning, and wholesaling
- Maintain knowledge of manufacturer incentives, rebates, sales programs, and requirements
- Monitor sales performance, Internet lead follow-up, and customer satisfaction
- Control selling expenses and identify opportunities to maximize department profitability
- Professionally resolve customer concerns and maintain strong CSI performance
- Work effectively with other dealership departments while ensuring dealership policies and applicable regulations are followed
Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of automotive sales management experience required
- Previous automotive retail sales experience required
- Experience with both new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations preferred
- Experience desking deals and working with manufacturer incentives, rebates, and sales programs
- Experience appraising trades and managing pre-owned vehicle inventory and pricing
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills
- High standards of honesty, integrity, accountability, and customer service
- Reynolds & Reynolds and/or Chrysler/Stellantis experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
- Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening
